Clann Mhuire C.L.G. – Moo Poo Official Rules and Regulations
- The Clann Mhuire Executive (“Poo Officials”) will establish and oversee all rules and regulations for the Moo Poo Fundraiser taking place on Saturday 29th August 2026.
- The Moo Poo event will take place on Saturday 29th August 2026 at Clann Mhuire C.L.G.
- The field grid will be organised digitally, with all squares being equal in shape and size. The field grid (and cow) will be protected by a barrier/fence. Spectators and square holders must not interfere with the progress of the event.
- Any interference with the event, officials, or cow may result in disqualification.
- Tickets will be sold by Clann Mhuire C.L.G. at a cost of €20.00 per square or €50 for 3 squares.
- Squares will be randomly assigned prior to the event on Saturday 29 August 2026.
To ensure all squares are equal in size and allocation, some squares may remain unsold. If the cow’s splat lands on an unsold square, the winner will be determined by the nearest sold square or squares by proximity. The judges’ decision is final. There may be more than one winner (up to a maximum of four winners), in which case the prize money will be shared equally. - A list showing ticket numbers and square assignments will be displayed in the vicinity of the club and field prior to the start of the Moo Poo fundraiser event.
- All square allocations are final and cannot be transferred.
- There will be at least one designated Clann Mhuire C.L.G. Executive “Poo Official” overseeing the event.
- At 3 – 3.30pm on Saturday 29th August 2026, a cow will be led into the designated grid area by an appropriate handler and allowed to roam freely within the grid area until the first cow splat or “plop” (excluding urine) is deposited on a square.
- If the judge determines that a participant has unfairly interfered with the event or the cow, that participant’s ticket may be disqualified and treated as an unsold square.
The holder of the winning square will receive the main prize of €2,000. In addition, the four nearest adjacent squares (sharing a side with the winning square, not the corner squares) will each receive €100. - If the cow’s splat lands across multiple squares, the square containing the first portion of the deposit will be declared the winner.
- The judge(s) will have the final say in determining the winning square(s).
- Square holders do not need to be present to win.
- The decision of the designated event judge(s) regarding the Moo Poo event winner(s) is final.
- The winner(s) will be recognised at the conclusion of the Moo Poo fundraiser.
- If a winner is not present, they will be notified by phone and/or email and will have 30 days to claim the prize money.
- Any unclaimed prize money will become the property of Clann Mhuire C.L.G. Winners must provide proof of ticket purchase, and proof of identity may be requested before prize money is awarded.
- Winners may be invited to participate in social media posts following the event. Participation is voluntary.
- The event will proceed on Saturday 29th August 2026, weather permitting. If the Moo Poo event is cancelled, it will be rescheduled within 30 days of the original event date.
- No refunds will be offered.
- These rules and regulations will be available at the Moo Poo event on Saturday 29th August 2026 and can also be viewed on the club’s official website: www.clannmhuire.ie
